55 years old, employed as a mill man for 22 years in the Tri-State mining district, died at 5 am today at his Baxter Springs Kansas home, 2012 Park avenue. Death followed a long illness. He came to Baxter Springs Kansas from Webb City Missouri, 12 years ago. He was a member of the A.F.& A.M. lodge No. 71 at Baxter. Surviving him are his wife, Myrtle Daniels; one daughter, Nadine Daniels of the home; two sons, Claud Daniels of Joplin Missouri and Richard Daniels of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Richardson of Baxter Springs, Mrs. Christine Burns of Muskogee Oklahoma, and Mrs. Marie Shawler of Arizona, and two brothers; W. F. Daniels of California and John S. Daniels of Webb City.
