Crow, C. H.
Abstract Data
Three employees of the Vinegar Hill Barr Mine were injured, one seriously, in an automobile collision in North Century Oklahoma this morning at 7 o'clock as they were on their way to work. The injured men were C. H. Crow, age 37, who suffered head and chest injuries and a possible rib fracture; James Harris, age 32, who received face and head lacerations, and Riley Gilligen, age 23, who suffered two severe cuts on the left arm. At the American hospital, Picher Oklahoma, where the three were taken in a Todd ambulance, Crow's condition was considered serious by attendants. Harris and Gilligen received treatment and were released immediately to return to their homes in Wyandotte Oklahoma. Crow also lives in Wyandotte. According to their account of the accident, the three Wyandotte men were driving north on South Connell avenue at North Century in a sedan owned and driven by Crow as another sedan owned and driven by a hard rock lead and zinc miner, whose name was not learned, was approaching from the west on a cross road. The two cars met at the intersection and both were demolished. The lone occupant of the other car was uninjured.
