retired lead and zinc miner and resident of Picher Oklahoma for the last 20 years, died at his home, 501 South Ethel Street, Picher, at 6 am Saturday, following a long illness. Craig, 72 years old, was employed as a hoisterman by the Hudson Mining Company before he retired. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. ___Craig of the home; a son, ___ G. Craig, and a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Brown, both of Los Angeles, California, and a sister, Mrs. Dessa Peirson of Independence Missouri. Arrangements for services and burial will be announced by the Thomas funeral home.

Funeral services for Orval E. Craig, 72 year old retired miner who died at his home in Picher Saturday, will be conducted at the Thomas chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday. James Kelly will officiate. Pallbearers will be George Payton, Gene Crockett, Gene Cash, Oscar Linegarger, Bud Gleaves and Howard Cawyer. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami.
