age 79, Weir Kansas, died at 1:16 pm Tuesday at Freeman Hospital, Joplin Missouri, after an illness of four years. Mr. Crabtree was born Oct 4, 1905, at Allen Indian Territory Oklahoma. He moved to Weir in 1957 from Miami, he had been employed at Eagle-Picher Mining Company, Picher Oklahoma, Boeing Aircraft at Wichita Kansas, Empire District Electric Company and Mason Service Station, Weir. He owned and operated a trash service in Weir for more than 10 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Black Diamond Masonic Lodge No. 274, and Kent chapter No. 117, Order of the Eastern Star, all of Weir, and of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Fort Scott. He married Ruth M. Gress on Jul 11, 1952, at Bentonville, Arkansas. She survives. Other survivors are a brother, Lewis Haynes, Wyandotte Oklahoma; and four sisters, Lena Jones, Coburg Oregon, Edna Young, Ada Oklahoma, Goldie Stevens, Atoka Oklahoma and Audrey Moyer, Soper Oklahoma. Arrangements will be announced by Naylor Funeral Home, Weir.

Services for Clem H. Crabtree, 79, Weir, who died Tuesday, will be at 10 am Friday at Naylor funeral home. The Rev. James Shope will officiate. Burial will be in Fairland Oklahoma cemetery. The family will received friends from 7 to 8 pm today at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:30 pm today by Black Diamond Lodge No. 274 of Weir.
