38 year old miner, died at his home, 100 south Picher Street, Picher Oklahoma, at 9:30 this morning. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fay Cox of the home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Cox, Picher, and Jolley Cox of the U.S. Army, and two sisters, Mrs. Fines Dodd of California and Mrs. Iris Thompson of Tulsa. Mr. Cox was a member of the Elks lodge in Arizona. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Durnil funeral home.

Funeral services for Audie E. Cox, will be conducted at 2 pm today at the Assembly of God church in Picher. The Rev. Homer Burns will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of Durnil funeral home.
