49 year old hard rock lead and zinc ore hauler, died at his home at 216 North Treece Street, Picher Oklahoma, at 2:15 p.m. Sunday of a heart ailment. He had been seriously ill about a week. A resident of Picher for the last 36 years, Corker is survived by his mother, Mrs. Blanche Corker of the home; seven brothers, Hamilton Corker and Jack Corker, both of Long Beach California, and William Corker, John Corker, Leo Corker, Robert Corker and Raymond Corker, all of Sacramento California, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Griffith of Clovis California, and Mrs. Everett Gardner of Sacramento. The Hunter funeral home will announce arrangements for services and burial.

Final rites for George Leroy Corker, 49 year old ore hauler, will be conducted in the Hunter chapel at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Henry Horn will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery at Granby Missouri. Corker died at his home at 216 North Treece Street in Picher Sunday.
