Funeral services for William Henry Coppenbarger, 36 years old, of Baxter Springs Kansas, who was fatally shot at the Lucky Jew Mine Sunday night, will be conducted in Baxter Springs at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Mr. Bath of Scammon Kansas, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Joplin Missouri. Coppenbarger is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Coppenbarger, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Coppenbarger of Baxter Springs; four brothers, Robert Coppenbarger of Lone Star Kansas, Chubb Coppenbarger of Galena Kansas, and Ted Coppenbarger and Jack Coppenbarger at home; three sisters, Mrs. May Asher, Mrs. Gladys Brewer and Mrs. Nellie Leonardman, all of Baxter Springs. The funeral will be under direction of the Durnil funeral home.
