Funeral services for Thomas Joe Conrad will be held Wednesday afternoon, starting at 2 o'clock, at the Assembly of God church of Commerce Oklahoma. The Rev. L. R. Bell will officiate. Conrad, 35 year old former miner, died Friday at Tucson Arizona. He had lived at Commerce all his life before moving to Arizona two years ago in an effort to regain his health. Surviving are his wife, Lorene Conrad and a son, Thomas Conrad of the home in Tucson; three daughters, Rita Conrad and Charlotte Conrad, also of the home, and Shirley Conrad who lives at Commerce; his mother, Mrs. Jessie Conrad, Commerce; five brothers, Herb Conrad and Bob Conrad, Commerce; Warren Conrad, Chicago; Henry Conrad, Kellogg Idaho, and Charley Conrad, Refugio Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Madeline Davis of Picher Oklahoma and Mrs. Mary Ray, Webb City Missouri; and two half-sisters, Mildred Conrad of North Miami Oklahoma and Mrs. Eva Hale, Pryor Oklahoma. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami, under direction of the Hunter funeral home, Picher. The body will lie in state at the mother's home, at 123 North Main Street in Commerce, until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Leo Hunter, Howard Todd, Kenneth Mowery, Clyde Hawk, Clay Billington and Henry Welch.
