54 years old mining engineer and metallurgist died late Tuesday afternoon at his home, 122 C Street SE, Miami. Mr. Collins was associated with the Anna Beaver Mining Company. He was born and reared at Leadville Colorado, and he was a mining engineer in the Leadville gold fields before coming to the Tri-State district. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Olga Collins; two daughter, Mrs. Lillian Balby of Picher Oklahoma and Miss Faith Collins of the home, and one son, Russell Collins, of Houston Texas. Final arrangements are awaiting word from the son. The Cooper undertaking company has charge.
