45 years old, died at 10 Thursday morning at his home, 205 K Street, Northeast, Miami, after an illness of about two years. Mr. Coleman was well known in Miami and the mining district, having been a ground boss in several mines before he became ill two years ago, since which time he had not worked. Funeral services will be held at 3 Friday afternoon at the First Christian church, conducted by the Rev. A. P. Cameron, and burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mayme Coleman, he is survived by eight children, Carlen Earl "Mick" Coleman, Pearl Coleman, Ella Coleman, Nancy Coleman, Norma Coleman, Aleen Findley and Mary Coleman, all living at home; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Coleman of Joplin Missouri; three brothers, B. W. Coleman of Miami, N. B. Coleman of Parsons Kansas, and O. M. Coleman of Cardin Oklahoma; and four sisters, Mrs. S. Selleck, of Adair Oklahoma, Mrs. J. A. Phillips, Mrs. L. W. Winters and Mrs. W. B. McCubbin, all of Joplin Missouri.
