Funeral services for Carlen Earl "Mick" Coleman, 53 year old longtime resident of the Miami, Rt 2, area who died in Miami Baptist hospital at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, will be conducted at the Second Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Frank Jennings will officiate. Pallbearers will be Earl Grigsby, Earl Ferris, Charles Middleton, Palmer Smith, James A. Coppedge and Mack Hargrove. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery in Miami, under direction of the Miami Funeral home. Carlen Coleman, who lived in this community since 1910, worked as a mine hoisterman for the Eagle- Picher Company for 23 years before ill health forced his retirement about a year ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Fern Coleman of the home in the Green Acres addition on Miami Rt 2; a foster-son, Richard Coleman, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Clara Flower, both of Kansas City Missouri; his mother, Mrs. Maymie Woodall of Vinita Oklahoma; a brother Finley Coleman of Louisville Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Ella Keene, Miss Norma Coleman, Mrs. Mary Kethron and Mrs. Alma Woodall, all of Vinita Oklahoma, and Mrs. Nancy Morgan of Modesto California, and two grandchildren.
