Clint J. Clouse, a resident of Baxter Springs Kansas for 40 years, died late Sunday in the Kansas state sanitarium at Norton, where he had been a patient for six years. He was 58 years old. Clouse, born at Galena Kansas, was a former carpenter with the Century Zinc Mining Company. He belonged to Masonic lodge No. 71, the Masonic Consistory at Ft. Scott Kansas and the Mirza Temple at Pittsburg Kansas. He also was a member of the First Christian church. Surviving are a son, Clint J. Clouse, Jr., of Kansas City Kansas; his mother, Mrs. Laura M. Clouse, Picher Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Crice, Sand Springs Oklahoma, and Mrs. Nadine Gray, Miami; five brothers, Floyd Clouse, Harry Clouse and Ralph Clouse, all of Baxter Springs, Howard Clouse, Los Angeles and Fred Clouse, Miami. The body will be received by the Wene mortuary. Arrangements for final rites were incomplete today.
