Abstract Data

A man named Clark, who owned several drill rigs in the mining field and one of the best known drillers in the district, was drowned near Quapaw Oklahoma Sunday afternoon, while taking a swim. With two companions, Clark went in swimming near the new wagon bridge. Neither of his companions could swim, and one of them came near drowning in trying to save Clark. Deceased leaves a wife and several children, who live south of Lincolnville Oklahoma.
