Age 45, owner of a Picher Oklahoma coal and wood yard, died at his home 216 South Picher Street, at 9:25 pm Friday. He was a resident of Picher for the past 26 years, 14 of which he worked in the lead and zinc mines. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mildred Chilton, a son, Charles Chilton of the U.S. Navy; a brother, Clarence Chilton of Picher; a half-brother, Carl B. King, Phoenix Arizona, and a half sister, of Texas. Funeral services will be announced by the Durnil funeral home.
