Final rites were incomplete today. Chaney, died while working in the yard of his home, 808 E Street northwest, Miami, at 3 pm yesterday. He suffered an initial heart seizure last October. A bookkeeper 18 years with Eagle-Picher Company, Chaney moved to Miami from Commerce Oklahoma, 10 years ago. He belonged to the First Christian church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Holden Chaney, and a daughter, Wanda Chaney, both of the home; another daughter, Mrs. Nancean Stover, Tyler Texas; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Chaney; Miami; four brothers, Raymond Chaney, Warren Chaney, and Roy Chaney, all of Miami, and Art Chaney, Cushing Oklahoma, and one granddaughter.
