a hard rock lead and zinc miner formerly employed at the Anna Beaver Mine, as ground foreman, died Mar 7, 1918, age about 40, at 6 am Tuesday at Commerce Oklahoma, of miner's consumption and a complication of other diseases. The deceased had been suffering for some time with the dread malady, but had only been away from the mines since last November. He was married. Note: Mitchelson Funeral Home records indicate he was buried at Lowell Kansas cemetery.
