72 year old retired lead and zinc miner, was found dead in his home, one-half mile north of Cardin Oklahoma, at about 9:30 am today. Sheriff Milt McCullough, who said Chamberlain apparently died of natural causes, reported that a neighbor discovered the body. Chamberlain is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nora Wellshear, Fort Smith Arkansas, and two brothers, Clarence Chamberlain, St. Louis Missouri, and Harry Chamberlain, a teacher in the Joplin Missouri high school. The body is at the Thomas funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Charles Lee Chamberlain, seventy two year old retired miner, was found dead Monday morning in his home near the power plant in Cardin Oklahoma. He lived alone and had been in ill health for some time. The discovery of the body was made by members of the sheriff's force when neighbors reported he had not been seen for two days. Survivors include two brothers, Harry Chamberlain of Joplin Missouri, and Clarence Chamberlain of St. Louis Missouri; and a sister, Mrs. Nora Wellshear of Fort Smith Arkansas. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in the chapel of the Thomas funeral home. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
