54 years old, died today at his Picher Oklahoma home. He had been in ill health for several months. He was formerly a hard rock lead and zinc miner. Surviving him are two daughters, two sons, a brother and a sister. The body was removed to the Todd funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Julius B. Carroll, 54 years old, who died at 11 o'clock Thursday morning at his home, 324 South Netta Street, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Assembly of God church. The Rev. Henry Horn, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Todd undertaking company. Pallbearers will be ground foremen of the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company, of which Mr. Carroll was an employee for 15 years. They are Bill Anderson, O. F. Sparlin, W. E. Kelley, Carl Williams, Charles Anderson and E. G. Howard. Mr. Carroll is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ada Voyles and Mrs. Pauline Hanscraugh, of Galena Kansas; Mrs. Gladys Chandler of Hazelgreen Missouri, and Miss Beulah Carroll of Tulsa Oklahoma; two sons, Charles Carroll of Kansas City and Clarence Carroll of Picher; a brother, Jeff Carroll, and a sister, Mrs. James Dernning of Joplin Missouri.
