A Picher Oklahoma man, died Aug 14, 1952, age 72, at the Picher hospital Tuesday evening about 9 o'clock. He had been in ill health the past year. Mr. Carder was a retired teamster and an entertainer. He had been a resident of this area since 1928, and had traveled with a road show for twenty years until his retirement in 1948. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Flora Carder of the home at West B Street, three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Sydebogham and Mrs. Bill Rose of Joplin Missouri; Miss Winnie Carder of Commerce; five sons, Duncan Carder, Clifford Carder, Clarence Carder, and Otto Carder, all of Picher; and Harley Carder of Aurora Missouri; a brother Dewey Carder of Stover Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Margie Bishop of Jefferson City Missouri; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Morton Lundy funeral home.
