A hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Mar 4, 1943, age 44, at his home north of the Picher Oklahoma high school at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Josie Cantwell; two daughters, Maxine Cantwell and Doris Cantwell, and three sons, Leon Cantwell, Gene Cantwell and Bill Cantwell, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Cantwell; two brothers, Sterl Cantwell and Earl Cantwell, both of Muskogee Oklahoma, and two sisters, Mrs. Lernie Sith, Muskogee Oklahoma, and Mrs. Eula Masterson of Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Union church in Picher. Burial Mar 7, 1943, will be in Greenlawn cemetery, in Cherokee County Kansas, northwest of Picher. Durnil funeral home is in charge.
