Maynard Byrd, Charlie Ballard and Randolph Byrd of Picher Oklahoma and Kenneth Dodd of Pampa Texas were 6 o'clock dinner guests Wednesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Byrd and children, 453 South Francis Street, Picher Oklahoma.

It is reported that Maynard Bird arrived home early Sunday morning minus a paycheck. Goodness! that will never do! Note: From a local column about miners

Maynard Bird has been transferred from the Tulsa-Quapaw Mine to the Bendelari Mine. He is putting in his apprenticeship as a tobacco-chewer in hopes of getting back to the Tulsa-Quapaw.
