A retired hard rock lead and zinc ore driller died Sep 19, 1953, age 75. The funeral will be conducted at the Roberson-Hunter chapel in Picher Oklahoma, at 3 pm today. The Rev. Arthur Shawgo of Columbus Kansas will officiate. Burial Sep 20, 1953, will be in the Greenlawn cemetery in Cherokee County Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma. Butler died at his home in Baxter Springs Kansas Rt 3 at 3:30 am Saturday. He had lived in that community for the last 16 years. Survivors include five nephews and three nieces.
