died Jan 24, 1927, age 54, yesterday at his home in Cardin Oklahoma. He was a well known hard rock lead and zinc miner of the Picher Oklahoma district, having resided in Cardin since the town was incorporated. Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Butler, one daughter, Mr. Lola Cowen of Cardin and two sons, Charles Raymond Butler and Newton Butler, both at home. Funeral services were held at the Free Will Baptist church in Picher at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon with the Rev. George Faust officiating. Burial Jan 25, 1927, was in the Miami cemetery by the Todd undertaking company.
