Baxter Springs Kansas. Mrs. Oneita Busse, wife of Glen Busse, living west of Baxter Springs, remained at her home today suffering from several broken ribs and back injuries, received Friday morning when she allegedly was knocked down by an ore truck near the Central Mill near Cardin Oklahoma. Mrs. Busse was rushed to the office of Dr. B. F. Lazenby at Treece Kansas, where she received treatment. She returned there Friday afternoon for a more complete examination and further treatment when her injuries became more painful. Dr. Lazenby said several of the woman's ribs where broken near the spine and that she also suffered a severe head bruise and back lacerations. Mrs. Busse, it was reported, was one of a group of women pickets at the Central Mill when she was injured. It could not be learned how the accident occurred.
