43 year old lead and zinc miner and resident of the Tri-State district for the last 36 years, died in his home in Hockerville Oklahoma, at 10 a.m. today after a short illness. Cause of death was not determined immediately. A member of the Assembly of God church, the miner is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ina Bunce of the home; six sons, Larry Wayne Bunce, Steven Edward Bunce and Oscar Delaney Bunce, Jr., all of the home. Donald Ray Bunce of Picher, Airman 1/cl. Berl Leon Bunce of Hamilton Air Force base in California; five daughters, Mrs. Maurine Sims of Hockerville, and Imogene Bunce, Barbara Bunce, Sharon Bunce, Kay Bunce and Debra Jane Bunce all of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Mable Lake of Zincville Oklahoma, Mrs. Delta Laney of Hockerville, Mrs. Leona Gardner of Trenton Missouri, and Mrs. Goldie Allison of Los Angeles California, and two grandchildren. The body was received by the Thomas funeral home of Picher. Arrangements for services and burial are incomplete.

Funeral services for Oscar Delaney Bunce, 43 year old lead and zinc miner, will be conducted at the Assembly of God church in Hockerville at 2 pm Monday. The Rev. Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Cleo Red, Don Gilbert, Ernest Rohrer, Ike Gibhart, Verl Keller and Lee Simpson. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Thomas funeral home. The body will lie in state at the family home until the funeral hour. A resident of Hockerville for the last 36 years, Bunce died at his home Friday.
