a former Picher Oklahoma resident died Dec 7, 1978, age 42, Thursday at 1:30 pm in Pocatello, Idaho, as the result of an apparent self-inflected wound. Bryant was born Jan 23, 1935, in Douthat Oklahoma. He had lived in Picher most of his life before moving to Missouri six months ago. A hard rock lead and zinc miner, he also operated a service station and grocery store. He was a member of the Douthat Holiness church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nola Jo Bryant, of the home; a son Ralph Eugene Bryant of the home; three daughters, Kristi Davis of the home, Kathy Thompson, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Karen Freeman, Columbus Kansas, and four grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at the Paul funeral home at Picher.

Graveside services for Ralph Bryant who died Thursday in Pocatello Idaho, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday. Burial Dec 13, 1978, at the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, with Rev. Clyde Speed officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Coble, Farrell Asbury, Jim Koronis, Bill Morgan, Harold Cawyer, and Max Martin. Services will be under the direction of Paul Thomas funeral home.
