Brown, Gearl James

Gearl James Brown, died in the Little Rock Arkansas Baptist hospital Wednesday at 1:45 pm. The former Ottawa county resident had been hospitalized two days. A member of the Baptist church, Brown moved from rural Miami to Little Rock about two months ago and was employed at the Orbit Valve Company. Surviving are his wife, Linda Brown, and a son, John Lee Brown, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gearl Brown and four brothers, Claude E. Jones, Lonnie Gene Jones, David Lee Jones and Don Richard Jones, all of Miami Rt 1; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Florence Gates, Dallas Oregon; and Mrs. Joann Hines, Kansas City Missouri; and his grandfather, Floyd Hubbell, Odell Oregon. Arrangements will be announced by the Cooper funeral home of Miami.
