Abstract Data

Brown, a former district lead and zinc miner was killed when struck by a train in California. He died Mar 22, 1945, age 42. Funeral services will be held at the Friends church in Wyandotte Oklahoma at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be Mar 29, 1945, in the Wyandotte cemetery. Brown's body now lies in state at the Buzzard funeral home in Seneca Missouri, after being shipped from the West Coast. Born and raised in Wyandotte, he lived in that vicinity until moving to California about six months ago. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Faye Brown; four sons, Harvey Brown, Gerald Brown, Garland Brown and Bonnie Brown; three daughters, Deloris Furman, Susie Brown and Jenne Brown; a sister, Mrs. Rose Arnold, all of California, and a brother, Elvin Brown of Wyandotte.
