A hard rock lead and zinc miner of Cardin Oklahoma, died Apr 28, 1945, age 52, at his home Saturday at 1:10 a.m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Breshears; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Brown and Mrs. Hazel Moore, both of Picher Oklahoma; two sons, William Breshears of the home and Charles Breshears, Jr., with the United States Army in France; two brothers, H. J. Breshears, Nantaskel Beach Massachusetts, and Luther Breshears, of Missouri; step-brother, Roy Gibson, address unknown; sister, Mrs. Lola Carter, Dallas Texas, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Cardin Christian church with the Rev. A. Z. Mathews officiating. Burial Apr 30, 1945, will be in G.A.R. cemetery of Miami, under direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher. Pallbearers, all members of Mr. Breshears' Sunday school class of the Christian church, will be John Horn, Jim Horn, Frank Sanders, George Allen and C. M. Masters. Mr. Breshears has been a resident of the district for the past 10 years.
