A resident of this community for the past 28 years, George Montgomery Bradley, 70 years old, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock. A native of Hiawatha Arkansas, Bradley was a retired hard rock lead and zinc miner. He had been ill for the past five months. Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Goldie Lawrence and Mrs. Grace Lawrence, both of Carl Junction Missouri, and a nephew James McCumber, who lives in Wyoming. The body was received by the Roberson-Hunter funeral home of Picher Oklahoma.

George Montgomery Bradley, had been a Picher resident, the past twenty-eight years and had been ill the past five months. He was born at Hiawasse Arkansas, Mar 21, 1881 to George Bradley and Ellen Bradley. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Grace Lawrence and Mrs. Goldie Lawrence of Carl Junction Missouri, and a nephew, James McCumber of Wyoming. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock today, Thursday, at First Baptist church at Douthat Oklahoma. The Rev. Henry Moudy will officiate and burial will be in the Forrest Park cemetery under the direction of the Roberson-Hunter funeral home. Pallbearers will be E. O. Vicory, James Reed, Phillip Abernathy, George Beaumont, Clyde Stilley and Lee Campbell.
