Brackett, Pete C.

51 year old district miner and a native of Italy, died at 1:15 o'clock Friday afternoon at his home, 116 North Ella Street, in Picher Oklahoma. Born in Corio, Italy, Brackett came to the United States 26 years ago and had resided in Picher for the past 20 years. He had been in ill health for a year. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Frances Brackett; one stepson, Edward Gale Zinn, Picher; and one brother, George Brackett Kansas City Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Goodson-Durnil chapel. The Rev. W. H. Wheat will officiate. The body will lie in state at the chapel until the funeral hour. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
