a former resident of Cardin Oklahoma and Anderson Missouri, died Jul 18, 1955, age 38, after a heart attack Monday morning at his home in Kellogg Idaho. Boyd had resided in Idaho as a hard rock lead and zinc miner for the past three years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Francis Boyd; a son, Kenneth Lee Boyd, with the U. S. Air Force; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Mendy of Kellogg and Sharon Boyd of the home; his mother, Mrs. Clyde Boyd, Anderson Missouri; and six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Fox, Cardin; Mrs. Lillie Tomison, Anderson; Mrs. Susie Tomison, Dewey Oklahoma; Mrs. Emma Bratton, Kellogg; Mrs. June Cooper, Wichita Falls Texas; and Mrs. Ruby Hahn, Carlsbad New Mexico. Funeral services were to be held today at Kellogg. The body will be returned to Picher for final rites and burial under direction of the Thomas funeral home.

Final rites for Willard W. Boyd will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Free Will Baptist church in Picher. The Rev. Gerald Herd will officiate. Boyd, 38, died at his home in Kellogg Idaho, Monday after suffering a heart attack. He formerly lived at Cardin and Anderson. Burial Jul 23, 1955, will be in G.A.R. cemetery, at Miami, under direction of the Thomas funeral home, Picher. Pallbearers will be Eddie Millard, Martin Rothgeb, Claude Stout, Clifford Jones, Carl Box and Leroy Johnston.
