Boyd, Lester William

Lester William Boyd, of 325 B Street southeast, Miami, died Oct 25, 1971, age 57, Monday, at 1:30 pm in his home. Mr. Boyd, born Aug 29, 1914, at Grove Oklahoma, had lived in Miami most of his life. Surviving are two sons, Jimmie Boyd, Miami, and Jack Allen Boyd, Joplin Missouri, a daughter Rosetta Boyd, Miami; a sister Goldie Stephenson, Miami, and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Cooper funeral home chapel, Miami, with the Rev. Vernon W. Turner officiating. Burial Oct 27, 1971, will be in Buzzard cemetery near Grove. Pallbearers will be Glen Bullard, Lawford Bullard, Jerry Boyd, Jack Walls, Lovie Lewis and Jake Lewis.
