Funeral services for Clyde Ottis Boyd, 65 year old former resident of Picher Oklahoma, who died at his home, Anderson Missouri, Rt 2, at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, will be conducted at the Roberson-Hunter funeral home in Picher at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Jimmy Royce, pastor of the Full Gospel church in Anderson, will officiate. Friends will act as pallbearers. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. The body will lie in state at the chapel until the funeral hour. A retired lead and zinc miner, Boyd had been in ill health for the last five years. He had lived in Picher from 1925 until 1947, at which time he moved to Anderson. He was a member of the Full Gospel church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Stella Boyd, of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Gladys Box of Cardin Oklahoma, Mrs. Lillie Thomison of Anderson, Rt 2, Mrs. Susie Thomison of Dewey Oklahoma, Mrs. June Cooper of Wichita Falls Texas, Mrs. Ruby Jo Hahn of Loving New Mexico, and Mrs. Emma Jean Bratton of Anderson Rt 2; a son, Willard Boyd, of Kellogg Idaho; a brother, Carl Boyd of Richland Washington; five sisters, Mrs. Lela Horn, Mrs. Bessie Hax, Mrs. Naomi Bratton, Mrs. Dicie Collins and Mrs. Ruth Bratton, all of Leslie Arkansas, 32 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Clyde Otis Boyd, 65 years old, and former district miner, died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Thomison, in Anderson Missouri. Mr. Boyd was born January 1, 1887, at Leslie Arkansas and moved to Picher in 1925, where he resided until 1947, when he moved to Anderson... Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Roberson-Hunter funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Boyce, of Anderson, officiating. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami. Anderson's friends served as pallbearers.
