of Picher, a hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Jun 13, 1939, age 35, at 10:30 pm at his home in the northwest part of Picher Oklahoma. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. T. Bond of Picher. and a daughter, Colleen Bond, of Joplin Missouri. Funeral plans will be announced by the Durnil funeral home.

Funeral services for William Elmer "Mark" Bond, will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Blue Front church near Treece Kansas. Burial will be on Jun 18, 1939, in the Sarcoxie Missouri cemetery, with the Durnil funeral home directing. Pallbearers will be Clayton Johnson, Marvin Phelps, Frank Smithson, Howard Winfield, Dewey Prewitt and Earl Bowman.
