Blankenship, Wesley
Abstract Data
The Dew Drop Mine is being hit about as hard as any company in the district by the army draft of Superintendent Alf Hofman and three miners, A. D. Elis, A. Love and C. Parks. They will leave with the Ottawa county Oklahoma boys for the war. Mr. Love will be no rookie, as he has served two enlistments in the regular army, one in the states and one in the islands, most of the time as a non- commissioned officer. Wesley Blankenship, ground boss at the Dew Drop Mine, will take Mr. Hofman's place as superintendent.
