44 year old Tri-State district lead and zinc miner, died at his home, 204 South Netta Street in Picher Oklahoma, at 12:10 am Saturday. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bertha Blank of the home; his mother, Mrs. Alma Blank of Kansas City Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Gussie Tweedy of Independence Missouri, Mrs. Freda Blank of Chicago Illinois; Mrs. Eunice Leach and Mrs. Mary Leach, both of Kansas City; two brothers, Julius Blank of St. Louis Missouri; and Marvin Blank of Jefferson City Missouri; five stepsons, Ivan Gerhart and Kenneth Gerhart, both of Richmond California; Virgil Gerhart, Freddie Gerhart and Carl Gerhart, all of Picher Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Cordelia Clark of Fredericktown Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday..burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami Oklahoma, under direction of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home. Pallbearers were Vernon Legg, Junior Chazell, Clarence Legg, Gordie Burrell, Ray Legg and Paul Kennett.
