Plans for funeral services for O. M. Bilharz, prominent mine operator who died in St. Louis Friday are indefinite. The family residence is here, but whether the body will be buried in Baxter Springs Kansas had not been announced today. All members of the family are in St. Louis. Mr. Bilharz died in St. John's hospital in St. Louis following an operation which he underwent three weeks ago. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Marshall Davis of Chicago Illinois; Misses Blanche Bilharz and Elizabeth Bilharz, both of Baxter Springs, and one son, O. W. Bilharz, of Miami Oklahoma Mr. Bilharz was born in Europe and had first hand knowledge of the zinc producing areas in the east of Belgium, brought into prominence during the World War. He came to American a number of years ago and was located for a time in the lead district of Southeast Missouri. About six years ago he became interested, with Victor Rakowsky, in the development of the Oklahoma section of the Tri-State zinc and lead field, their properties including the Bilharz Mine and other good producers. For several years the Bilharz family has occupied a beautiful modern home on North Willow avenue, in Baxter. The son is superintendent of the Bilharz Mine.

Bill Bilharz, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Bilharz, suffered a spiral fracture of the left leg, above the ankle, when he fell from his bicycle, near Kenilworth Illinois, recently. He is a student at Lake forest academy at Lake Forest Illinois.
