Best, Carroll Erman

of 427 South Connell Avenue, Picher Oklahoma, died Jul 11, 1973, age 73, at 3 am, in Freeman hospital, Joplin Missouri where he was a patient for 11 days. He was born Feb 18, 1900, in Joplin Missouri, and moved to Picher in 1935 from Douthat Oklahoma. He was a shovel operator and retired in 1965. He was a past master of the Masonic lodge in Picher. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Era Best, of the home; one son, Claude Best, Fairland Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Edith Wilhite, Tulsa Oklahoma; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
