Funeral services for John W. Bergstrom, 34 years old, who died suddenly of apoplexy yesterday morning at his home at the Hocker apartments, were held at the Central Methodist church at 11 o'clock last night with the Rev. J. L. Brown officiating. Mrs. J. D. Wineland sang, accompanied by Mrs. Jessie Marquiss. Military rites were conducted by the Picher post of the American Legion. The body was taken to Novinger Missouri, where final rites will be held today by the Kirksville Missouri Legion post. The services last night were under the direction of the Green undertaking company.
