Benton, Bernie D.

age 39, Hockerville Oklahoma, ex-service man and resident there since 1919, died at his home at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He was employed as a hard rock lead and zinc miner. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Benton; two children, Billy Benton and Evalyn Benton of the home; two brothers, Dick Benton and Frank Benton of Baxter Springs Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Stittler, Mrs. George Blaine, Mrs. Gentre Howard of Lebanon Missouri and Mrs. Glenn Sawyer of Houston Texas. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
