Bennett, John "Booger"


Abstract Data

of Carthage Missouri, more familiarly known as Booger Bennett among hard rock lead and zinc miners of the district, died Saturday at the home of a sister near Carthage, following a long illness. Mr. Bennett worked in the Picher Oklahoma area mines for some time, being last employed at the Anna Beaver Mine near Cardin Oklahoma. Mr. Bennett was a brother of Fred Bennett, 712 North Picher Street, Picher. He is also survived by a son, three other brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be held at the Ulmer funeral home in Carthage at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in Parks cemetery.
