died Nov 16, 1939, age 37, in a Durnil ambulance of Picher, at 2:30 o'clock yesterday en route from his home, 310 North Vantage Street, Picher Oklahoma, to the Picher hospital. Mr. Bell suffered a severe hemorrhage at Main and Second Streets Sunday afternoon and had been in a serious condition since. He was an employee of the Eagle-Picher Mining and Smelting Company for the last 12 years. His last work was roof trimmer in the Blue Goose hard rock lead and zinc mine near Cardin Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Iva Bell; his mother, Mrs. Effie Bell of the same address; a brother, Dallas Bell, and a sister, Miss Lera Bell, both of Picher. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Picher First Baptist church. The Rev. W. A. Evans will officiate. Burial will be in the Jackson cemetery, south of Joplin Missouri, under direction of the Durnil funeral home. Pallbearers will be Fie Cox, Audie Cox, Ray Younger, Ted Sherwood, Tommy Keithley and John Newline.
