Beckman, Charley

Funeral services for Charley Beckman, Cardin Oklahoma man, whose body was found near the See-Sah Mine pond early Monday. Believed to have died Dec 20, 1936, age 72, were to be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Cooper chapel here. The Rev. Harry W. Curtis, pastor of the First Presbyterian church was to officiate. Mr. Beckman's body was found by a mine employee yesterday after an unsuccessful search Sunday night by officers, friends and relatives. The victim was believed to have been seized by a paralytic stroke as he was taking an afternoon stroll. Burial Dec 22, 1936, in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
