Bert Franklin Becker, 36 years old, a well-known miner, died at his home on North Netta Street, Picher Oklahoma, Sunday noon, from a complication of diseases after a three week's illness. Funeral services will be conducted from the home of his wife's mother, Mrs. L. A. Younger, 1714 Smith Street, Joplin Missouri, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. James Posey of Picher, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Joplin. Becker had been a miner for twenty years in the Galena Kansas and Picher districts. He is survived by a wife and three children, Edwina Becker, 14; Claude Carrol Becker, 12, and Delores Becker, 5 years old; Claude Becker, a brother, and two half- brothers, Charles Riddle and James Riddle, all of whom reside in Picher.
