52 years old, died Friday night at his home about three miles northeast of Miami. He had been a resident of the district for approximately 18 years, during which time he was engaged in farming and mining. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Barnett; four brothers, Roy Barnett of near Miami, W. D. Barnett of Commerce Oklahoma, Charles Barnett of Joplin Missouri and Oliver Barnett of California, and five sisters, Mrs. Florence Dixon of Joplin, and Mrs. George Harver, Mrs. Oliver Sullivan, Mrs. Ruby Rowe and Mrs. Emma Martin, all of Fresno California. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday at the North Fairview schoolhouse, three miles west of Commerce. The Reverend Temnlin of Commerce will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, under direction of the Lane funeral home. Pallbearers will be Harley McBrian, George Jones, Hersie Wilson, Elmer Robinson, Percy Shackelford and W. D. Smith.
