Abstract Data

John Baker, resident of Picher for several years, died at his home, 446 South Francis Street, at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon. He was 51 years old, and had been ill for many years of arthritis. Surviving are his wife, Anna Baker, of the home, and the following relatives living in England; Mother Baker; three sisters, Mrs. Kate West, Mrs. Alice Brooks and Miss Minnie Baker, and two brothers, Will Baker and Charley Baker. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Methodist church in Picher, with the Rev. D. W. Brashear, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Sarcoxie Missouri cemetery.
