81 year old former longtime resident of the Tri-State district, died at his home in Sapulpa Oklahoma, last night. A retired farmer and lead and zinc miner, Baker had lived in Sapulpa for the last four years. Survivors include a brother, Ben Baker of Sapulpa, and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Nora Hunter of Picher. The body will be received by the Hunter funeral home of Picher. Arrangements for services and burial are incomplete.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hunter chapel in Picher at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Junior Couch of Cardin will officiate. Burial will be in the Williams cemetery, west of Miami.
