age 52 years, brother of Mrs. O. F. Hodgdon of Miami, died at the home of his son at Carthage Missouri, about 10 last night. Mr. Austin is well known in the mining district, having worked here for many years. Services will be conducted at the Knell undertaking parlor and burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery at Joplin Missouri. Relatives: sister, Mrs. D. O. Du Mont, Los Angeles, Mrs. A. A. Gunn, Los Angles, Mrs. D. L. Stewart, Los Angeles; Mrs. J. F. Boord, Picher, Mrs. O. F. Hodgdon, Miami, and Mrs. Georgia Wainscott, Bartlesville Oklahoma; brother, Harry Austin, Joplin.
