of Shawnee Oklahoma, a brother of H. C. Austin, is also a recent but very enthusiastic convert to the district and is investing his money here liberally whenever he finds a proposition that appeals to him. He and Mr. A. H. Ikenberry, also of Shawnee, are associated with the owners of the Red Fox Mine, regarded as one of the richest strikes ever made in this district, the drill cuttings are assaying 40 per cent and there is a face of 36 feet. A shaft is being sunk and every effort exerted to get a large capacity mill up and going at the earliest possible date.
